Friday night bar atmosphere. Will stands at a high-top with Iris and friends, slightly drunk. He threads through the crowd to the bar, where he meets HANNAH — she strikes up conversation. They talk about grief, Julia's sister, meeting people. Then JULIA steps up, introduces herself. She's with Hannah — puts her arm around her.

Housewarming party — downtown apartment, warm light, shoulder-close people with drinks. Will navigates the crowd. He bumps into JOSH at the fridge, who's friendly and offering beers. Then HANNAH pops up: "Boo!" Will smiles. Julia is at the party but not in this scene.

Will wanders the apartment hallway looking for the bathroom. He checks doors, settles on the bedroom.

Quieter bedroom with coats on the bed. Will opens a dresser drawer and finds a paperback with a photobooth strip as a bookmark — Hannah and Julia, cheek to cheek. JULIA enters and catches him. He's embarrassed; she's curious.

Will leaves the bedroom into the hallway, anxious and unsettled. He glimpses Hannah in the background through a doorway. He decides to reset.

RESET. Back in the party kitchen. Hannah pops up: "Boo!" Same moment, different knowledge. Will pockets what he's learned.
