Will steps out, eyes bloodshot, a giant plushie hugged to his chest — big enough to block his sightline. He blinks against the light, as if waking from a dream, then moves past the nose of a parked delivery van toward the street.
A cyclist, GRAHAM, barrels along the painted bike lane and barely misses him. Will yells after him.
Jesus. Sorry!
He looks on as the cyclist rides away; rattled.
