Hannah's in her original chair, not Josh's. Across the room, he reads. She doesn’t go to him. Choice made. The bathroom door opens. Julia, in the black dress, crosses to Jana at the counter. Hannah watches from her table, alert, contained.

Jana indicates the payment machine. Julia swipes her phone and nothing happens.
Sorry, maybe try again?
She swipes it again, then rotates the phone and sees that it's off. The battery died.
Are you fucking kidding me?
I'm very sorry.
I just need one thing to go right today.
Suddenly, Josh walks up and joins the counter.
JOSH
Problem?
It's nothing. My phone is dead.
JOSH
What were you ordering?
A latte.
JOSH
A latte. Allow me.
He grabs his phone to pay for the latte. We zoom into the phone as a thumb swipes Pay. THE HUM builds. We zoom out: it’s in HANNAH’s hand. THE HUM cuts. Hannah and Julia stare at each other for a moment. Then Julia smiles.
