THE HUM cuts. We're back in their kitchen from episode 4. Warm light over a cluttered table — plates stacked, bottles open, food half-finished. Music hums faintly from the living room. Will's at the counter.
Is this supposed to impress me? I've been here before.
Not this night. This is the night of the housewarming. And also the night after your exhibition opened.
What exhibition?
You fell in love with painting again. And you were successful. Unfortunately, you were successful at the exact same time you and I were supposed to move in together, so we kind of celebrated both. (pointing at the dinner table)
Lily did a whole speech on that table. Very drunk.
And is that supposed to make me feel something? It's not me.
But it is you. Two more exhibitions before your artist residency in Berlin. And on the trip back, you buy me a wedding ring.

Yeah. Technically, *you* proposed. I'm still telling people it was mutual.
I don't believe any of this.
