EXT. MAYA'S BUILDING - DAY #27#
Handlebars chatter; the painted bike-lane glyph flashes beneath. Graham pedals along. Suddenly up ahead: a giant plushie emerges from behind a delivery van. Graham hits the floor, hard. Back to Will's perspective as we replay a familiar view from last episode: Will drops, bracing Graham’s head. Blood slicks from a split at the hairline, bright and fast. But something is different this time — this is Traveller Will.
I know it was you who led them to me. You gave them a chance to ruin my life. Why? You never get involved, unless it comes to saving yourself. Am I the only mistake worth fixing? Why don't we start here?
Graham attempts to travel. THE HUM builds. But Will touches him again and it immediately cuts.
Oh no you don't. You stay with me.
(as a rattle escapes from Graham's throat)
There you go. There you go. Let go, let go, let go. Let's just call it fate.
Graham stops moving. The blood trickles down from his face. On Will, resolute, satisfied.
