Dim light through thin curtains. Hannah and Julia asleep on the bed, dressed in undershirts, turned away from each other, clothes discarded in a heap on the chair. The room is silent except for distant traffic. Then, the phone rings. Hannah looks at the alarm clock - 7:55 - and picks it up.

Julia wakes up, looks at her in confusion.
