A narrow garden path. Sunlight filters through the leaves, dappling the walkway. Hannah walks slowly, holding her grocery bag up to her chest. The weight shifts as she adjusts her grip. Birdsong. The distant hum of a car passing. Ordinary sounds. But she’s still distracted, her mind elsewhere. She reaches her front door. Keys jingle as she pulls them from her pocket, slides one into the lock. A small hesitation. She pushes the door open.
